
The Eastern Shore District has released its selections for the 2024 All-District teams in boys and girls soccer, baseball, and softball, honoring top athletes from our area this year.
Boys Soccer
Northampton junior Sebastian Mayorga earned Player of the Year honors after leading the Yellow Jackets to a regional final appearance. He scored 16 goals and added 13 assists in his junior season. Mayorga was joined by several teammates on the First Team All-District list, including Luke Jones, Manny Montalvo, Martin Montalvo, Thomas Dix, Jose Palacio, and Gaige Kellogg.
Nandua placed five players on the first team: Kevin Tinoco, Alex Plowden, Gyan Baiju, Liam Aigner, and Daniel Macca. Arcadia was represented by Edwin Tomas, Aron Perez-Sarmiento, Reynaldo Juarez, and goalkeeper Diego Santos.

Girls Soccer
Senior forward Lizeth Panuco of Northampton was named Player of the Year, leading a strong Yellow Jackets contingent that included Grace Smith, Jorleni Martinez, Ava Siegrist, Mencia Garro, Rosana Diaz, Yarisbet Cruz, and goalkeeper Virginia Brown. Panuco scored 14 goals in her senior year for the Yellow Jackets.
Arcadia was also well represented with Diana Hernandez, Lesley Cux-Sarat, Yantza Lopez-Mendez, Aitana Pedrazza-Mateos, and Daniela Hernandez named to the first team. Nandua’s Campbell Bays, Robyn Anderson, and Iris Martinez-Chaves rounded out the selections.

Baseball
Nandua senior Aiden McIntyre earned Player of the Year and was named to the First Team as both a pitcher and designated hitter. He hit .345 this season with five home runs, both of which led the Warriors. He also posted a 0.99 ERA on the mound, with 111 strikeouts and a 5-3 record in 11 starts. Nandua also placed Jordan Snead, Greg Lessard, and Hayden Williams on the list.
Arcadia’s First Team selections included Dalton Barnes (P, 1B), Dylan Chesser, BJ White, and Zach Giddins. Chincoteague’s Kent Reed and Bryce Luck were recognized for their efforts as well.

Softball
Freshman pitcher Ryann Giddins of Arcadia was named Player of the Year after a dominant season on the mound. She was joined on the First Team by teammates Payton Taylor, Megan Montross, Brinlee Kauthen, and Kaylee Shreaves.
Nandua’s Kylie Killmon and Rihanna Taylor, along with Chincoteague’s Caitlyn McPherson, Julia Dunston, Faith Stadler, Meredith Wright, and Carmela Rosanova, were also selected.
