Destro & Kellam named to VISAA All-State Team

Two Broadwater Vikings varsity baseball players were named to the Virginia Independent Schools Athletic Association’s All-State Team last week.

Eli Destro earned First Team honors for his performance as both a pitcher and center fielder, while Kellam was named to the Second Team as a catcher.

Destro, a sophomore, posted a .380 batting average, recording 24 hits—including five doubles, one triple, and two home runs. He also notched 58 strikeouts on the mound.

Kellam, a junior, finished the season with a .387 batting average, matching Destro with 24 hits and striking out just four times all year.
