Central Accomack Little LeagueCentral Accomack’ s Senior Boys All Stars will move on to the finals on Wednesday with an 8-6 win over Shinnston, West Virginia. The game was tied at 6 with Central Accomack batting in the bottom of the 6th when Luke Parks smacked a 2 run homer which in the end clinched it for Central Accomack.

Both offenses were strong at the plate as Virginia collected seven hits and West Virginia had ten in the high scoring affair.

Central Accomack captured the lead in the first inning when Brandon Adamos singled on a 2-1 count scoring two runs.’

In the bottom of the second CALL tied things up at six. Zykeese Davise singled on a 2-0 count scoring one run.

West Virginia picked up three runs in the second on a three run homer by Payton Hawkins.

Tyler Greene was the winning pitcher allowing seven hits and six runs over one and two thirds innings, striking out one and with no walks. Dylan Ross threw five and a third innings in relief. Ross recorded the last out to earn the save.

Central Accomack tallied seven hits with Parks and Ross each having multiple hits.

Central Accomack  will now face South Carolina, the team they lost to Sunday.  The winner will advance to the Senior League World Series. The game is expected to begin at approximately 11:30 a.m.  WESR will have live updates throughout the game.
