The Broadwater Vikings volleyball team hit the road Tuesday night and came away with a sweep over Hampton Christian, winning 3 sets to 0. With the victory, the Vikings improved to 9-5 on the season and will return to action Thursday when they host Gateway Christian.
In another matchup, the Northampton Yellow Jackets traveled to Nandua and earned a straight-sets win, 3-0. The victory pushes the Yellow Jackets back to .500 on the season at 4-4. They will next face Arcadia on Thursday in Oak Hall. Nandua, still searching for its first win of the year, fell to 0-8 and will travel to Chincoteague on Thursday.
Chincoteague also picked up a road victory Tuesday night, defeating Arcadia 3 sets to 1. The Ponies improved to 2-11 on the year and will return home Thursday to host Nandua. Arcadia dropped to 0-9 on the season and will look to rebound when they host Northampton on Thursday.
