Arcadia sweeps Salisbury Christian; Broadwater falls to Greenbrier Christian

Softball

The Arcadia Lady Firebirds hosted Salisbury Christian on Tuesday afternoon and won by a score of 15–4. Brinlee Kauthen earned the win on the mound, pitching five innings and allowing four runs (one earned) on four hits while striking out 12 batters.

Offensively, the Lady Firebirds collected 10 hits. Peyton Taylor, Megan Montross, and Brinlee Kauthen each had two hits. Montross recorded two doubles, while Kauthen added one.

Arcadia improves to 4–5 on the season and will return to action Thursday with a road game at Isle of Wight.

The Broadwater Lady Vikings traveled to face Greenbrier Christian on Tuesday and fell by a score of 15–2. Ramsey Revelle took the loss on the mound.

At the plate, Broadwater managed four hits. Kacey Ford went 1-for-2 with a double and two RBIs.

The Lady Vikings drop to 10–2 on the season and will return to action Friday when they host Atlantic Shores Christian.

Baseball

The Arcadia Firebirds hosted Salisbury Christian on Tuesday afternoon and came away with a 15–5 win. Waylon Watson earned the win, pitching six innings and allowing five runs (four earned) on seven hits while striking out seven.

Zach Giddens and Dalton Barnes each had two hits. Giddens hit a double, while Barnes had both a double and a home run, driving in four runs. Jacob Delgado added an inside-the-park home run and totaled five RBIs.

Arcadia improves to 4–5 and will host Chincoteague next Tuesday.
