Arcadia basketball sweeps District Titles

Girls Basketball
The Broadwater Lady Vikings dominated Thursday night with a 55-10 victory over the Chincoteague Lady Ponies. Broadwater improves to 9-6 while Chincoteague falls to 1-10. The Lady Vikings host Denbigh Baptist Christian on Friday, while Chincoteague visits Nandua on Monday.

The Arcadia Lady Firebirds clinched the Eastern Shore District title with a 55-44 home victory over the Nandua Lady Warriors. Arcadia (11-5) used balanced scoring and strong defense to secure the win. Nandua drops to 7-9. Both teams play Monday, with Arcadia hosting Northampton and Nandua welcoming Pocomoke.

Boys Basketball
Chincoteague earned a 40-29 home victory over Broadwater behind strong defense and timely scoring. The Ponies improve to 5-9, while the Vikings fall to 4-11. Chincoteague travels to Nandua on Monday, and Broadwater hosts Denbigh Baptist Christian on Friday.

The Arcadia Firebirds captured the district title with a 75-55 home win over Nandua. Arcadia (13-5) continued their strong season with a commanding offensive performance. The Warriors (6-11) look to rebound Friday at Pocomoke, while Arcadia hosts Northampton on Monday.
