The Eastern Shore District has announced its 2025 All-District Boys and Girls Basketball Teams, recognizing top athletes from Arcadia, Nandua, Chincoteague, and Northampton High Schools.
Boys Basketball
Player of the Year
Jordan Cropper, an Arcadia Junior has been named Eastern Shore District Player of the Year for his exceptional performance throughout the season. Cropper played in 17 games, averaging 19.6 minutes per game while showcasing his dominance on both ends of the court. He led the team in scoring with 19.3 points per game, shooting an efficient 57% from the field and 39% from three-point range.
Cropper demonstrated remarkable versatility, securing 8.4 rebounds per game, distributing 3.1 assists per game, and contributing defensively with 1.9 steals and 1.2 blocks per game. In total, he amassed 333 points, 143 rebounds, and 52 assists throughout his junior season, during which he also surpassed the 1,000-point career threshold. His ability to protect the ball and make smart decisions was evident, as he maintained a 7.43 assist-to-turnover ratio, one of the highest on the team.

Player of the Year
Megan Montross , another Arcadia Junior, has been selected as the Eastern Shore District Player of the Year, recognizing her outstanding performance and leadership on the court. Montross averaged 17 points per game this season, along with 2.9 rebounds, 4.4 steals, and 1.6 assists per game.
