RICHMOND, VA – On Thursday, Governor Glenn Youngkin will attend the 2023 Annual Chincoteague Volunteer Firemen’s Carnival to greet visitors and ceremonially sign HB 1951 and SB 1478 designating the Chincoteague Pony as the official pony of the Commonwealth. The signing is scheduled for 7:50 p.m. at the Carnival Grounds.
