Chincoteague, VA- It may be chilly outside, but it’s always the right temperature to enjoy a sweet-filled adventure on beautiful Chincoteague Island. Death By Chocolate is a free 2-day Valentine event held Friday, February 15th from 4-8 p.m. and Saturday, February 16th from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Players validate playing cards at participating businesses and receive a chocolate delight on this town-wide scavenger hunt. The event concludes at Chincoteague Center at 4 p.m. on February 16th with prizes and a raffle giveaway. In March, the fun is repeated as participants Search for Shamrocks on Friday, March 15th from 4-7 p.m. and Saturday March 16th from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. This scavenger hunt ends Saturday at Island Theatre at 4:15 p.m. where winners will be announced.
