Winners of Old Fashioned Mud Hop

Over 1,100 people attended the Old Fashioned Mud Hop at the Byrd Foods Packing Plant last Saturday in Route 316 south of Parksley.

Winners of the event were Ray Abbott, winning 1st place in both Class A & B with his vehicle the Dirty Devil. In C Class, first place went to Lee Sturgis in the Grey Ghost.

In the Mini Open, 1st place went to Randy Beers with his vehicle Running Down A Dream. Open Class, 1st place was Robert Stevenson in Shock & Awe and in the Trump Down and Dirty Division, Bryan Watson won with his vehicle Little Red Dakota.

Another Old Fashioned Mud Hop is in the works for spring.
