Victim of Chincoteague fire identified

The Virginia State Police has identified the body of a man who died in a fire on Circle Drive  Wednesday morning.

62 year Daniel J. Fernandez was found in the structure after the main fire was subdued. The Virginia State Police fire investigator was called to the scene and the investigation is continuing.

The cause of the fire has not been determined but it does not appear to be suspicious.
