United Way of Virginia’s Eastern Shore announces availability of 2026 Funding Application

The United Way of Virginia’s Eastern Shore (UWVES) announces that its 2026 Funding Application is now available for nonprofit agencies seeking support for programs and services benefiting Eastern Shore residents.

For the 2026 funding cycle, the application process will be online only. Completed applications must be submitted no later than Thursday, February 19, 2026. The application, along with detailed instructions and eligibility information, can be accessed on the United Way of Virginia’s Eastern Shore website at www.esunitedway.org.

Since 1991, the United Way of Virginia’s Eastern Shore has raised more than $8.6 million to support vital health, education, and human service programs across the Shore. These funds are distributed to local partner agencies that provide essential services to individuals and families in need. All funds raised remain local unless otherwise designated, ensuring a direct and meaningful impact within the Eastern Shore community.

Nonprofit organizations interested in applying are encouraged to review the application materials carefully and submit all required information by the stated deadline.
