Two Northampton residents plead guilty to cocaine violations in Northampton Court

In unrelated incidents, two county residents pleaded guilty Tuesday in Northampton Circuit Court to possession with intent to distribute cocaine.

Fifty-five-year-old Mary Shell Pepper, of Bayside Road in Exmore, committed the felony on Jan. 24, 2024. Thirty-four-year-old Nassawadox man Cedric Lamar Sample’s crime was committed on July 26, 2023.

Another identical charge alleged to have occurred on July 6, 2023, was not prosecuted against Sample.

Presentence reports were ordered. Sentencings were set for March 3, 2025.
