Tornado Watch in effect for large part of mid-Atlantic, including Shore

The National Weather Service has issued a Tornado Watch for a large part of eastern North Carolina, Virginia, and Maryland, including Accomack and Northampton Counties, until 11:00 PM tonight.

A Tornado Watch means condition exist which could lead to tornadic activity, but does not mean it is eminent.
