The Eastern Shore of Virginia Chamber of Commerce is hoping to re-create the spirit of Harvest Fest, albeit on a smaller scale. After the Chamber’s members overwhelmingly responded in a survey they missed a signature networking event, the Chamber of Commerce put together a committee to accomplish this goal, and after almost 18 months of planning, came up with Shore Surf and Turf.

Here is the Chamber’s Executive Director Robie Marsh discussing the event:

Atlantic Avenue in Wachapreague from Wachapreague Road to South Street will be blocked off and turned into a tailgating atmosphere on Friday, September 13th.

Music will be provided by the Finns, a fantastic band that has a wide array of music to complement it’s southern rock roots.

Food provided will be steamed clams, chicken, French fries, water and soda. Beer and wine available for purchase.

Tailgate spots are $160 and allows you to set up your own hospitality site and bring in your own food and cooler to fully entertain friends and comes with 2 General Admission tickets. General Admission tickets are $30 before Saturday, August 17, and include entrance to this fun networking event and food. Only 500 tickets total are available for purchase, and general admission prices will go up on August 18 to $50.
