Talia Taylor elected new Clerk of Court in Accomack County

Talia Custis Taylor will be the next Accomack County Clerk of Circuit Court, following her victory over her predecessor’s son in Tuesday night’s election.

Taylor emerged victorious, topping Cedrick Cooper 6,193 to 4,398. She won every precinct in the County except Rue.

The seat has been held by Samuel Cooper for the last five terms.
