Strong storms strike lower Northampton County Tuesday night

On Tuesday, strong storms hit lower Northampton County bringing rains and heavy winds. 

There were  some trees and branches  reported down.  911 reported a few fire calls but there were no major fires. 

At one point ANEC reported 168 customers without power most of which were in the Exmore area. 

The storms will give way to somewhat cooler conditions over the next few days with highs in the mid 80s rather than the mid 90s.
