Hurricanes  Idalia and Fred will have some affect on the weather on the Eastern Shore.   Fred should pass well off the coast and Idalia is expected to affect the lower Outer Banks but we should be well north of tropical storm winds.  But there will be an affect.  But not only will we have two tropical systems stirring up the Atlantic Ocean but we will be coming off a full moon cycle and the result of all of that could be some minor flooding and dangerous surf conditions with heavy rip currents on our seaside beaches.  The National Weather Service has issued a Beach Hazards warning for the entire Eastern Shore
