The public had an opportunity to see what various public and private entities plan in case the Eastern Shore experiences a major oil spill. The event took place at the Workforce Development Center at Eastern Shore Community College. Representatives from the Coast Guard, NOAA, the US Fish and Wildlife Service, the National Park Service, the VMRC, the Virginia Department of Conservation and Recreation, Game and Inland Fisheries, VIMS, the Va Dept. of Historic Preservation, the Va. Department of Emergency Management, the Hampton Roads Incident Management Team, Accomack and Northampton Counties, the Sea Consulting and NRC Environmental Clean up and Verizon were represented,
