Spanberger announces CBBT Commission appointments

Governor Abigail Spanberger has announced new appointments to state boards and commissions, including two members from Virginia’s Eastern Shore.

Spanberger has appointed Lisa Cuba of Accomack to the Chesapeake Bay Bridge and Tunnel Commission. Cuba serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Risk Officer at Forbright Bank.

Also appointed is Jeff Walker of Northampton, a retired Continental Airlines pilot.

In a statement, the governor said she’s confident the new appointees will use their professional experience to serve Virginians with dedication and integrity while helping make the Commonwealth safer, stronger, and more affordable.

The Chesapeake Bay Bridge and Tunnel Commission oversees the operation and long-term planning of the bridge-tunnel, a vital transportation link connecting Virginia’s Eastern Shore with the Hampton Roads region.
