In 1979, The Dukes of Hazzard premiered on television, Margaret Thatcher became Britain’s first female prime minister, the first Sony Walkman goes on sale and a Capeville resident began working for Northampton County. A lot has changed since then but one thing remains the same- Ronald Rowe still goes to work for the same employer he began with over four decades ago.
Rowe, now Director of Solid Waste and Recycling, just rounded a notable milestone having dedicated 45 years to Northampton County. This week he visited with Kelley and shared his perspective on work and life.
