In the heart of Exmore, there is a young man who was making waves—literally and figuratively. In a season of swelter, he was a cool breeze of kindness and joy.
Last week, as temperatures soared to record-breaking highs with an unbearable heat index for days on end, Nick Young stepped up in a big way by purchasing and distributing pools to families throughout the community. His thoughtful gesture offered more than just relief from the heat; it gave local children a safe space to splash, laugh and make lasting memories.
Known for his warm heart and community-first mindset, Kelley visited with Nick as he shared how this and other acts of generosity during the year reflects his deep roots and unwavering commitment to his community.
