At Northampton High School, three students took it upon themselves to create a simple yet powerful initiative: a “prayer sink” adorned with uplifting and encouraging messages written on post-it notes.
Whether offering words of hope, faith, or simply reminding someone that they matter, their initiative has inspired classmates to embrace compassion. In a world where negativity can feel overwhelming, their efforts highlight the impact of kindness—proving that even the smallest gestures can uplift and transform.
This week, Kelley visited with 10th grader Keasia Doughty and 9th graders Tegan Gerber and Madelynn Lee as they expressed how, through sharing words of faith, inspiration or simple affirmations, they hope their small act will make a big impact, fostering a culture of support and positivity within the school.
