Healing from a loss and turning it into something productive involves acknowledging your grief, allowing yourself to feel the emotions, practicing self-care and then channeling that experience into a positive action like pursuing a meaningful goal.

When we face adversity, it’s natural to have moments when we feel overwhelmed. But, in these moments, there is also an opportunity to reflect, refocus, and find comfort in our inner strength and resilience, learning how much we can overcome and experiencing the growth that can emerge from the experiences.

This week, Kelley visited with Carletha Ayers Rogers as she shared how her journey has rekindled her love of cooking for others, creating food for the body and food the soul.
