There are four pillars— faith, continuous learning, a positive attitude and self-care— that can create strength and resilience, helping us to navigate life’s ups and downs.
Faith can be a guiding force, offering comfort and a sense of purpose. It might be spiritual, religious, or even a belief in oneself or a higher cause.
The pursuit of learning is like having an open window to endless horizons. It’s not just about formal education, every new experience and every person we meet can teach us something valuable.
A positive attitude is like our superpower, transforming challenges into opportunities and infusing every day with a sense of possibility.
And, finally, taking care of oneself is crucial for overall well-being. This includes physical health, mental health, and emotional balance. This means nourishing your body with healthy foods, staying active, getting enough sleep and also being kind to your mind. When you prioritize your own well-being, you build a strong foundation to handle whatever life throws your way.
This week, Kelley visited with Brian Karadimas as he shares how these four pillars have become the cornerstones in his journey through cancer with a rare form of stage 4 lymphoma.
