There’s food for the body and food for the soul. Having a deficit in either is not good for our health and overall sense of well-being.
From 2017 through 2024, Manna Cafe at Christ United Methodist Church on Chincoteague has provided 97,369 free lunches the first two Mondays of each month. Lunches are open to everyone from 11-1 in the church social hall.
In this look back at Shore Perspectives, Kelley visits with Bill Lytle who, with his wife Fran and many volunteers in the community, strives to provide food for the body and soul through the mission at Manna Cafe on Chincoteague.
Lunch today is open to everyone at Manna Cafe in the social hall at Christ UMC on Chincoteague from 11-1.
