SHORE PERSPECTIVES: Grandmother, doctor and world traveler, Metty Pellicer, a native of the Philippines who now lives in Cape Charles, has always been fascinated to learn the history of places she visits and lives. A chance meeting with Northampton County community leader, Tom Godwin, led to her writing his memoir while learning about the history of racism in the United States.
