Shore Made Music Festival started back in 2000 when a group of music lovers decided to gather together some of the best local shore musicians and friends ( and believe me, there is a lot of that on our 65 mile long eastern shore!). Over the years, as the festival grew it moved to several different locations.
In 2016, Shore Made Music Festival (SMMF) found it’s new home – right here on the lawn, along Onancock Creek at Historic Onancock School.
SMMF is now a major fundraiser for our community center. We are fortunate to partner with our business community, residents, alumni and friends to celebrate together our local talent and each other.
