A small but powerful line of storms brought severe weather to the area Friday evening, including heavy rain, lightning, hail, and possibly a tornado.

Listener-submitted video from Tucker Terry of Willis Wharf shows several trees downed or snapped following the storm line that moved through from Birdsnest northward around 6:40 p.m. The National Weather Service has not confirmed the Eastern Shore of Virginia experienced any tornadic activity.

There were also reports of hail in the Exmore area and a confirmed tornado in Salisbury.
