Several fire companies responded Sunday morning after a large tree fell through the middle of a trailer on Fox Court, according to a statement posted on the Eastville Volunteer Fire Department’s Facebook page.
Units were dispatched at 8:28 a.m. Firefighters freed the individuals who were trapped and provided assistance at the scene. Eastville personnel worked alongside Northampton County EMS and the Northampton County Sheriff’s Office before turning the incident over to Eastville Police. Cheriton and Cape Charles Volunteer Fire Departments were called out but canceled.
The scene was cleared at 9:18 a.m., and no injuries were reported.
The American Red Cross was notified to provide support to those affected.
