Several drug offenses were alleged in indictments handed down by an Accomack Grand Jury this week.
Thirty-six-year-old Rebecca Collins-Sard, of Captain’s Cove, was indicted on counts of
distributing cocaine to a minor, abuse of a child by totally disregarding the child’s life, and possession with intent to distribute cocaine. According to court files, the crimes occurred Sept. 8.
In addition, four men were indicted on counts of possession of a Schedule I or II drug.
Fifty-six-year-old Keith Leander Parker, of Linhaven Circle in Painter, was indicted on an Aug. 22 count of possessing cocaine. Fifty-six-year-old Thomas Holston Birch, Pearl Drive in New Church, was indicted on a Sept. 3 count of possessing cocaine. Forty-four-year-old Jeffrey Ray Lewis, of Chincoteague Island, was indicted on an Aug. 31 count of possessing methamphetamine. And 46-year-old Craig Walter Turner, of Deerfoot Road in Melfa, was indicted on a Sept. 3 count of possessing cocaine.
