Senator Lewis awarded Lifetime Achievement Award from Va. Chamber

At the 2023 Virginia Chamber of Commerce Annual Luncheon, the Chamber presented Senator Lynwood Lewis with a Lifetime Achievement Award for his outstanding support over the course of his legislative career of the principles and initiatives outlined in the Chamber’s long-term economic development plan, Blueprint Virginia 2030. 

Blueprint Virginia 2030 is a plan of action to ensure the Commonwealth strengthens and secures its  position as a leader in the global economy and is the best state in the nation for business. The Virginia Chamber collected input by bringing together leaders in business, economic development, workforce, education, housing, and other areas to ensure statewide representation of priorities for Virginia’s  economic prosperity. 

“I am humbled and honored by this recognition from the Virginia Chamber,” said Senator Lynwood Lewis. “It has been a privilege to play a part in maintaining and growing our Commonwealth’s reputation  as the best in the country to do business. I look forward to seeing this growth continue in the years to  come under the collaborative Blueprint Virginia 2030 action plan.” 

Senator Lewis’ bipartisan work to support a growing and changing workforce, promote business growth  and enhance economic development across the Commonwealth is something he hopes will leave a legacy long after his retirement in January.
