Senator Lewis and Delegate Bloxom discuss the upcoming gun debate in Virginia

At Wednesday morning’s Eastern Shore of Virginia Chamber of Commerce Eggs and Issues Breakfast at the Onley Town Center, the discussion came up about Virginia Democrats’ push to fundamentally alter the Commonwealth’s gun laws.

Delegate Bloxom said that Virginia Democrats will push something through so they can claim victory on the issue:

Next up was Senator Lynwood Lewis, who until recently was the only Virginia Democrat to get an A rating from the NRA. Now at a B-, Senator Lewis could very well likely be a swing vote on any proposed gun legislation in the Commonwealth. Lewis said he is focused on access issues because they are proven to work:
