
The Accomack County Salvation Army has extended heartfelt thanks to the community for its support during this holiday season. In a recent statement, the organization acknowledged the individuals, businesses, organizations, and churches that contributed to its mission of assisting families in need across the county.
A special note of appreciation was given to the 8th-grade Beta students of Nandua Middle School, who volunteered as bell ringers at Walmart. The statement highlighted their dedication, stating, “They know what it means to serve others at a young age. These students did so with respect and gratitude to everyone they came in contact with.”
The Salvation Army also expressed optimism about the success of this year’s efforts and looks forward to continuing its work in the coming year.
“We were successful this holiday season and look forward to next year. Thank you all,” the statement concluded.
