Eastern Shore Rural Health System, Inc. has earned a spot on the Winter 2025 Serve Virginia Honor Roll, recognizing its significant impact on quality of life across Virginia’s Eastern Shore. The honor comes from Serve Virginia, a collaborative initiative between the Virginia Department of Social Services’ Virginia Service Commission and the Virginia Service Foundation that works to connect volunteers with opportunities statewide.
The Honor Roll celebrates organizations that create meaningful change through service and volunteerism in their communities. Rural Health’s recognition highlights their ongoing commitment to community health and accessibility of medical care for all residents of the Eastern Shore.
“This recognition is a testimony to the work of a great mission-driven team – both Board of Directors and staff – who work tirelessly to create a healthy Eastern Shore through access to quality care for all,” said Rural Health CEO Jeannette Edwards. The organization’s placement on the Honor Roll underscores their dedication to serving the healthcare needs of the Eastern Shore community.
