More temperatures in the 90s are in the forecast for the Eastern Shore, but there would be relief on the horizon.
After weeks of relentless heat and humidity, weather forecasts suggest a potential shift in the oppressive pattern. According to long-term outlooks from The Weather Channel, Fox Weather and Accuweather, a break from the hot and sticky conditions may arrive by Thursday, July 31.
Forecasters expect the hazy, hot, and humid weather to persist through the upcoming weekend and into the early part of next week, with daytime highs continuing to hover around the 90-degree mark. However, by late next week, a cooler trend is anticipated, bringing daytime temperatures down to the low 80s—a welcome reprieve for many.
At this point there is no tropical activity of interest to the Eastern Shore.
