Churchill Pinder, right, a fifth generation Episcopal priest who has filled in at all seven Episcopal churches on the Eastern Shore since retiring here two years ago, was the guest speaker at the Eastern Shore Christian Businessmen’s Association last week at the Eastern Shore Yacht & Country Club.

Rev. Pinder talked about service to the community and taking care of our natural resources. He professed his love of the Chesapeake Bay and the Eastern Shore since his parents built a home on Pungoteague Creek in 1977. For the past 25 years, Rev. Pinder has led a youth group in making home repairs for low income residents.

At left is Rhudy Naylor, president of the ESCBA, which meets monthly to promote the highest ethical standards and Christian principles in all business dealings.
