Fire units from Parksley, Bloxom, Tasley, Onancock and Melfa were called to the scene of a residential structure fire on Maxwell St. in Parksley Wednesday morning.
The call came in at approximately 9 a.m. First responders arrived to find the rear of the residence on fire.
The fire was brought under control at 9:42 a.m.
