Northampton honors employees reaching service milestones

Several Northampton County employees were recently recognized for their dedicated service in a special ceremony, receiving bonuses, letters of appreciation, and plaques for reaching milestone anniversaries with their respective departments.

5 Years of Service

The following employees celebrated five years of outstanding service and were each presented with a bonus and a Letter of Appreciation from their department heads:

Charlene Bagwell – Emergency Medical Services
Anna Marie Crockett – Emergency Medical Services
Lane Parks – Emergency Medical Services
Tammy Selby – Emergency Medical Services
Robert L. Hole, Jr. – Facilities Management

These individuals were commended for their commitment and contributions to their teams and the county community.

10 Years of Service

James D. Gray of Emergency Services was recognized for reaching the 10-year milestone. He received a bonus and a Letter of Appreciation from the County Administrator for his continued dedication to public service.

20 Years of Service

Jennifer L. Simpson, a long-serving member of the Finance Department, was honored for her two decades of service. In addition to receiving a bonus, Simpson was presented with a mounted resolution from the Deputy County Administrator, commemorating her 20 years of hard work and loyalty to the county.

45 Years of Service

A special recognition was given to Ronald W. Rowe, from Solid Waste Management & Recycling, who marked an impressive 45 years of service. In addition to receiving a bonus, Rowe was granted two weeks off as a token of appreciation for his extraordinary dedication to the county.

Deputy County Administrator Janice Williams gave a heart felt speech thanking Rowe, calling him the model of service to local government.

“Over the many years we have worked together, whenever I asked Ron to do something, his first response was never ‘are you going to pay me?’ It was always ‘when do you need it done,” said Williams.
