Northampton High School is thrilled to announce that student Aalysa Marrow has been elected Vice President of the Virginia Career Association within the Jobs for Virginia Graduates (JVG) program. This prestigious leadership role not only highlights Aalysa’s dedication but also allows her to help shape student leadership initiatives across Virginia.

The Virginia Career Association, part of JVG, is a student-led organization that promotes civic engagement, team building, and leadership development. Members serve as advocates for their peers and contribute to developing skills essential for future success. Aalysa’s new role will involve planning student leadership events, participating in JVG board meetings, and attending the National Student Leadership Academy (NSLA) in Washington, D.C., where she will connect with student leaders from across the country.

Her selection as Vice President is a testament to her hard work, integrity, and commitment to her fellow students. By representing Northampton High School in this prestigious forum, Aalysa exemplifies the school’s commitment to fostering leaders who contribute positively to their communities.

Through the Virginia Career Association, JVG members gain access to leadership roles, advocacy opportunities, and events that connect them to professionals and peers throughout the nation.

“We wish Aalysa the best of luck and know she will do great things!” said Superintendent Dr. Lisa Martin.
