The Culinary Arts 2 class at Northampton High School brought holiday joy to the cats and dogs at the Eastern Shore Regional Animal Control this season. The students baked over 200 treats for the homeless animals at the facility and made a special trip to deliver them in person.
Upon arrival, they were warmly greeted by wagging tails and happy barks, as the animals eagerly enjoyed the homemade treats. The students not only showcased their culinary skills but also experienced the profound impact of giving back to their community.
“It was an amazing experience,” one student shared. “Seeing how much the animals appreciated it made it all worthwhile.”
The initiative highlights the class’s dedication to both their craft and their local community, emphasizing the importance of compassion during the holiday season.
