Nine residents from across the Eastern Shore were indicted Monday by an Accomack Grand Jury on felony drug offenses.
Fifty-year-old Antonio Maurice Ewell, of Collins Lane in New Church, was indicted on a count of possession of a gun while possessing cocaine, being a non-violent felon while possessing a gun, being a felon in possession of ammo, and two counts of possession of cocaine. The charges were filed in connection with alleged incidents from Dec. 15, 2025, and Jan. 8, 2026.
Twenty-six-year-old Terique Denovis McCloud, of Airport Road in Melfa, was indicted on counts of distribution of cocaine and possession with intent to distribute Methylenedioxymethamphetamine also known as MDMA, on Jan. 26, 2026.
Fifty-year-old Kristin Kelly Edwards, of Brooklyn Avenue in Wachapreague, was indicted on counts of possession of methamphetamine, possession of fentanyl, and possession with intent to distribute fentanyl on Nov. 30, 2025
Thirty-three-year-old Carlton “CJ” Byrd, of Lankford Highway in Cape Charles, was indicted on a count of possession with intent to distribute cocaine on Feb. 18, 2026
Thirty-eight-year-old Terence Antonio Smith Jr., of Parksley, was indicted on counts of possession of methamphetamine and possession of a gun while in possession of the drug on Dec. 18, 2025.
Thirty-two-year-old Lamonte D. Johnson, of Savage Drive in Parksley, was indicted on counts of possession of cocaine and eluding police with speeds of 20 mph over the speed limit on Dec. 18, 2025.
Forty-four-year-old Travis Markeise Brown, of Church Street in Onancock, was indicted on a count of cocaine possession on Jan. 16, 2026.
Sixty-eight-year-old Howard Bradus Mills, of Harlequin Lane in Pocomoke, Md., was indicted on a count of possession of cocaine on Feb. 11, 2026.
Thirty-five-year-old Nasrean Megan Muslimani, of Circle Drive in Onancock, was indicted on two counts of possession of fentanyl on Dec. 17, 2025.
