MNSAA awards student scholarships

On June 12th, the Mary N. Smith Alumni Association presented scholarship awards to four students. Two students were in attendance for the presentation as shown in the picture.

The scholarship was established in honor of Mrs. Mary Nottingham Smith who dedicated her life to educating all young people.

Haley Justis (Arcadia High School) will be attending the University of Maryland Eastern Shore and Jailah Bailey (Nandua High School) will be attending Virginia Tech University in the fall.

Not pictured: Iris Martinez-Chaves (Nandua High School) plans to attend Virginia Tech University and Kayla Hicks (Northampton High School) plans to attend Longwood University.
