Maryland man charged with rape and abduction

A Frederick, Maryland man is behind bars in Accomack County, facing a long list of serious charges — including abduction and rape.

Authorities say 23-year-old Riker Bucci was arrested on May 16 after a disturbing series of events involving his ex-girlfriend.

According to police, the victim reported that Bucci showed up at her home the night before, claiming he was there to pick up some belongings. Once inside, she says he pulled a knife, held it to her throat, and threatened her. He then allegedly forced her into his car, drove around while threatening her, and eventually raped her — even threatening to record the assault and send the video to her current boyfriend.

Police say a search of Bucci’s phone later turned up two videos showing a woman involved in sex acts with an animal.

Bucci now faces multiple charges, including rape, abduction with intent to defile, assault and battery, and possession of illegal sexual content involving animals. He’s also accused of violating a protective order.

Bucci is scheduled to appear in court on June 30.
