A Temperanceville man was sentenced Thursday in Accomack Circuit Court to 11 years of active time in prison for four counts of aggravated sexual battery that involved two young girls in January 2023.

Thirty-five-year-old Christopher James Geiser was given 20 years for each offense or 80 years, which is the maximum penalty. Judge Lynwood W. Lewis Jr. suspended nine years of each sentence and set the terms to run concurrently.

Geiser admitted to committing the crimes against an 11-year-old and a seven-year-old. He told authorities he was using cocaine and drinking heavily when the incidents occurred.
