A Greenbush man pleaded guilty Thursday in Accomack Circuit Court to three counts of possession of child pornography and three counts of possession of materials depicting bestiality.
Fifty-two-year-old Rodney Neil Parks, also known as “The Skipman,” of Mill Road, was arrested on June 23 after local officers went to his home to investigate a cyber tip received from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children that advised multiple files had been downloaded from the internet.
Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney Michael Baker said Parks “willingly handed over his cell phone, which he had on his person.” That cell and another phone found in the home contained the materials.
Judge Lynwood W. Lewis Jr. ordered a short-form presentence report and a psychosexual evaluation. Sentencing was set for March 20.
