A project that began with a meeting of Eastern Shore mayors and then Representative Scott Taylor and has continued could be in the offing.  The proposal is to extend the sewage line down the railroad right of way from the Accomack Industrial Park to Nassawadox which would include the town of Exmore.  The proposal would allow the Hampton Roads Sanitation District to provide the service using the Onancock treatment facility and the existing lines that extend to the Industrial Park.  At Tuesday’s Eggs and Issues breakfast  Senator Lynwood Lewis and Delegate Rob Bloxom discussed the subject and how it could allow more affordable housing to be built on the Shore.
