Learn the signs of opioid use and how to get help
A special opioid awareness program will be offered free to the public Thursday July 25 at 7 p.m. at Market Street United Methodist Church in Onancock. Participants will learn the signs of opioid use to look for, the history of opioids, and where to get help. Captain Todd Wessells of the Accomack County Sherriff’s Department and Special Agent Scott Wade of the Virginia State Police will present the program. Two videos will be shown that present two very different stories of opioid addiction.
