Bike riders took a tour of the Eastern Shore during the Eastern Shore of Virginia Chamber’s annual Le Tour de Shore on the morning of June 14th, 2025.
Over 300 riders were able to choose from 100 mile, 100K, 50K, and 25K length rides that started and ended in Onancock’s Town Square along a path that took riders across the Shore.
With the routes covering distance from Parksley down to Cape Charles, riders were able to get to bike through the towns and farmland that make the Shore unique and beautiful.
Anne Clark, Director of Marketing and Events, described the ability of Le Tour de Shore to show participants a side of the Eastern Shore they might not have experienced.
“The bike ride is really exciting because it is on a flat surface and it tours the whole Shore, from Cape Charles down to Parksley,” she said. “It gives riders an opportunity to see the Shore from a different perspective and really to go through every town and branch off from the highway and get to know our local culture and views.”
