WASHINGTON, D.C. — Congresswoman Jen Kiggans (VA-02) testified in front of the House Ways and Means Committee in support of existing clean energy tax credits. In her testimony, Congresswoman Kiggans highlighted the importance of putting America first by unleashing domestic energy production through an all-of-the-above energy approach.
“While we continue working to unleash American energy, we cannot turn a blind eye to the benefits these clean energy tax credits provide and how they are actively helping our Armed Forces, small businesses, and American families,” said Congresswoman Kiggans. “The bottom line is that in order to increase American energy dominance and bolster our domestic energy security, we need to protect as much production and innovation as possible.”
“As someone who represents one of the most military-heavy districts in the country, I know that energy security is national security,” Congresswoman Kiggans continued. “We must put America first by prioritizing domestic energy production.”
